Preparing your body for childbirth is key. Exercising safely during pregnancy has been proven to be great for both mum and growing baby, not to mention the major health benefits exercising has on your mental health and relieving unnecessary stress.

Requirements

  • All clients must be cleared to exercise after their first scan.
  • Equipment is not provided for this programme. You need to purchase a Swiss ball (minimum 65cm) and 2x light hand held weights. You can opt to use bottles of water instead or tins of beans!
  • A personal Zoom account is needed.

    Having done phase 1 zoom and bodyfit hiit after my last pregnancy, decided to do prenatal with baby no2. Cannot fault the girls, absolutely amazing, great to be able to take part in a class that gets a sweat up and the heartbeat racing but knowing you are doing exercise that’s safe and good for you and for baby. Great to be able to do catch up as well so I don’t miss out if I can’t make the live zoom class.

    This is my third baby but the first time I have exercised so far into pregnancy. Having completed postnatal zoom classes after my second, I was keen to keep active as long as possible with prenatal classes this time. I have really enjoyed the variety of exercise and the convenience of the online classes. I’m also loving that I have kept strength up and learnt how to protect my core and pelvic floor properly and hope to continue classes through my third trimester before returning to postnatal classes. Both Aimee and Catriona are great, enthusiastic coaches and I would definitely recommend!

    I started BFMs in 2020 via zoom after my first baby and loved the support, variety in exercise and community feeling. When i fell pregnant with my second baby I couldn’t wait to sign up for the prenatal after 12 weeks to make sure i kept moving over winter. Im now in my third block of prenatal and at nearly 38 weeks I am loving that im still able to workout consistently in such an enjoyable way! Bring on phase 1 postnatal!!
